[20 Nov 2007|01:54pm]
So we finally bit the bullet recently and jumped headlong into the brave new world of high definition big screen television.

I never thought I'd be watching some BFE Tech vs Wazoo State tuesday night college football game just because it was /pretty/. OMG 1080P ETC ETC ETC

Oh, and Halo 3 is pretty sweet too. I look /damn/ good getting pwned by oversugared preteens.

Brush with destiny! [07 Mar 2007|12:55pm]

To be completely technical, given the layout of the ticket and properties of order statistics, any sort of random fill-ins around the center has a greater chance of being next to the 'right' numbers without any greater chance of being the 'right' numbers. But I think the way it looks is still funny. :>

I daresay I could have found a use for 1/3rd share of $380-odd million after taxes, though. Hee!

The LaRouchies were deployed on campus today.

I remain convinced they're all performance artists, even if they don't actually realize it.

Teef [15 Jul 2006|11:50pm]
Alas, my dental vacation ends tomorrow. It has been three fulfilling days of not shaving, not dressing in more than a jersey top and sweat pants, not doing anything more physically exerting than MUSHing all day, subsisting on pudding, KFC mashed potatoes and gravy, and fat-free mango sorbet, and of course popping generic percosets at regular intervals.

But having divested myself of all the wisdom lurking in my mouth and spent an appropriate of time slacking/recovering, on the morrow I clean up and go back to earning a living wage. So we'll just commemorate my whole adventure with one of my completely infrequent LJ posts and my trophies:

I believe those are 1, 16, and the bits of 31 that survived the crack-up. Raar.

Also, apologies to those of you were are all like BLAAAGH WHERE'S TEH CUT TAG DAMMIT right now. ;>

Went back to this little gathering in Baltimore again after taking a few years off. Good times were had. Still working on matching people to LJ names, so if you're off honk at me and I'll add you to the appropriate lists.

In other events, zomg naked hippie liberals (not-safe-for-work link helpfully labeled nsfw)!

aka the Fremont Solstice Parade. You know, the usual sort of bodypainted bikeriders and pro-marijuana parade floats that one expects out of my little neighborhood.

Just documenting my status as the best boyfriend evar.

Yep, bought her the FFXII edition PS2 in Hiroshima. The results have been tremendous: she can already read "potion" in katakana.

David Bowie's Pants World Tour 2006 [07 Nov 2005|11:20pm]
I have a band.

Don't have any musicians or songs or tour stops or show dates, but I do have a band name and a logo. And really, that's all you need to start cranking out some T-shirts.

Not to imply that I've been getting up at the ass crack of dawn for the last two weeks, but I slept in today. Until 7:45 am.

It doesn't look right even in writing.

Da vote [03 Nov 2004|07:47pm]

"Boy, that 'electability' thing really worked out well, didn't it?"

On a more personal note, I would like to extend to all sitting Supreme Court justices a very polite invitation to remain in excellent health for the next four years.
